De New York à Sydney, en passant par Vienne et Londres, le Quatuor Aviv captive le public par ses concerts remarqués dans les salles les plus prestigieuses du monde, telles que Carnegie Hall, le Concertgebouw, l'Auditorium de Louvre, Wigmore Hall et le Konzerthaus Berlin. Il est également l’invité des festivals de Verbier, Davos, Aix-en-Provence, du Lubéron et des Folles Journées de Nantes. 

Basé en Suisse, l'ensemble confirme son rôle d’acteur majeur de la vie musicale de Suisse romande en donnant, entre autres projets, le cycle complet des quatuors à cordes de Beethoven au Studio Ernest Ansermet durant la saison 2018-2019 - le tout enregistré et diffusé régulièrement par la radio suisse Espace 2. Le Quatuor Aviv a tissé depuis de nombreuses années un partenariat privilégié avec la RTS, aussi bien pour des projets radiophoniques que pour des programmes de la télévision. Présent sur les scènes musicales les plus emblématiques de Suisse, l’on a pu entendre la saison dernière le Quatuor Aviv en concert à Zürich, Bâle, Fribourg, Neuchâtel, Lausanne et Genève.

Quatuor ROSAMONDE

Rosamonde Quartet

Formé en 1981, le Quatuor Rosamonde se produit depuis 40 ans sur les scènes internationales les plus prestigieuses. Il a acquis le "fondu", cette homogénéité absolue qui n'apparaît qu'après des années de travail en commun et qui est l'apanage des meilleures formations. Leur approche du répertoire témoigne d’une réflexion approfondie sur les œuvres abordées dans toute leur diversité stylistique.

Héritier de la grande école française de quatuor, le Quatuor Rosamonde a été formé au Conservatoire de Paris et à l'Université de Yale. Il bénéficie dès ses débuts de l'enseignement des grands maîtres du XXe siècle par la rencontre et l'amitié avec Raphaël Hillyer, altiste durant 25 ans du Quatuor Juilliard, et Eugen Lehner, altiste du Quatuor Kolisch, ami de Schoenberg et de Bartók.

Le Quatuor Rosamonde est lauréat du Concours International d'Evian (1983) avec le "Prix d'interprétation de compositeurs modernes" et le "Prix spécial du Jury international des critiques" à l'unanimité et remporte en 1986 le Premier Prix du Concours International de Quatuors de L'Union des Radios Européennes à Salzbourg.

Depuis, le Quatuor Rosamonde mène une carrière internationale. Il se produit régulièrement dans les plus grandes salles européennes, comme le Mozarteum à Salzburg, Wigmore Hall à Londres, Bruckner Haus à Linz, Théâtre des Champs Elysées à Paris.
La critique internationale a salué la beauté de leur sonorité, la justesse de leur style, le raffinement et l'élégance de leur phrasé.

Born into a family of musicians, Agnès Sulem began studying music at a very young age. She studied at the Conservatoire de Nice and then at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris where she was unanimously awarded 1st Prize in Violin and 1st Prize in Chamber Music. Alongside her musical studies, she pursued high-level scientific studies.

Hailed by critics for being “a passionate and committed violinist” (Bachtrack), Hugo Meder embodies the new generation of French violinists.

Born into a family of Alsatian winegrowers and cabinetmakers, Hugo discovered the violin at a music school near his village. Immediately spotted by his teachers, he quickly joined the Strasbourg Conservatory in the class of Ana Reverdito-Haas, who revealed his great musicality and made him join the CNSMDP (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris) in Alexis Galperine’s class.

Jean Sulem studied at the Paris Conservatory in Serge Collot's class. In 1981, Pierre Boulez chose him to become a soloist with the Ensemble Intercontemporain. Very active in contemporary creation, he has performed masterpieces of the contemporary viola solo repertoire at the greatest international festivals (Zimmerman, Maderna, Berio, Donatoni, Nunes, Grisey, Holliger, Ton That Tiet, Lévinas, Ligeti, etc.) and inspired numerous creations.

A curious and multifaceted spirit, Xavier Gagnepain channels his passion for music into the most diverse forms.

A cellist and disciple of Maurice Gendron, Gagnepain holds several international awards (Munich, São Paulo…) and is regularly invited to perform with renowned orchestras across the European scene. A fervent advocate for contemporary music (he was the first to perform the complete cycle dedicated to Paul Sacher), he also dedicates himself to showcasing lesser-known repertoires.

He is an active chamber musician, both as a member of the Rosamonde Quartet and in collaboration with numerous other partners.

French violinist Anna Göckel has garnered international attention as a sophisticated and versatile artist, consistently praised for her refinement, intelligent musicianship and expressivity.

Awarded by the French-Grammy “Révélations classiques de l’ADAMI” (2016), and the SACEM’s “Enesco Prize” (2020), she immerses herself in a wide-ranging musical repertoire from Baroque to contemporary works.

Brandon Garbot has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in venues including Weill Recital Hall, Severance Hall, Isabella Stewart Gardner Hall, Rundfunk BerlinBrandenburg, the Kennedy Center, and in Tainan, Taiwan. He has appeared as a soloist with the Oregon Symphony, the Jeerson Symphony, the Kammerorchester Basel, and on tour with the Curtis Chamber Orchestra.

Noémie BIALOBRODA

Noémie Bialobroda has been the violist of the Aviv Quartet since 2014, leading an active international career with the ensemble. Their performance of Beethoven’s complete string quartets at the Ansermet Studio in Geneva in 2018-2019 was a great success and strengthened their presence in French-speaking Switzerland.

Noémie Bialobroda, passionate about teaching, is since 2025, viola professor at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon. She is also Chamber Music Professor and Chamber Music Coordinator at the Haute École de Musique de Genève. Previously, she taught at the Conservatoire de Lausanne and the Conservatoire de Genève. During the summer, she teaches at the Flaine International Music Academy. Her students have won prizes in prestigious national and international competitions.

Daniel Mitnitsky began his cello studies with Zvi Harell in Tel Aviv. Daniel was a member of the David Goldman Outstanding Young Musicians Program of the Jerusalem Music Centre and has been a recipient of scholarships for cello and chamber music from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation since 2001. Daniel received a Bachelor of Music degree from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music (Tel Aviv University), as student of Zvi Harell, graduating with honors, winning the school’s concerto competition and first prize in the chamber music competition. Daniel has recently graduated with a Masters degree and a Graduate diploma from the New England Conservatory as student of Natasha Brofsky and Paul Katz. At NEC,

Born in 1990 into a family of musicians, Michaël Bialobroda began playing the piano and cello at the age of four. He earned his Master’s degree with high honors from the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris in 2013, studying cello in Philippe Muller’s class. In 2013, he was selected to participate in the Kronberg Academy, where he attended masterclasses with Torleif Thedéen and Miklós Perényi. Michaël Bialobroda was also chosen twice (2014, 2015) to attend the Seiji Ozawa International Chamber Music Academy, performing at Victoria Hall in Geneva, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, and the Louis Vuitton Foundation.
