Born in 1990 into a family of musicians, Michaël Bialobroda began playing the piano and cello at the age of four. He earned his Master’s degree with high honors from the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris in 2013, studying cello in Philippe Muller’s class. In 2013, he was selected to participate in the Kronberg Academy, where he attended masterclasses with Torleif Thedéen and Miklós Perényi. Michaël Bialobroda was also chosen twice (2014, 2015) to attend the Seiji Ozawa International Chamber Music Academy, performing at Victoria Hall in Geneva, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, and the Louis Vuitton Foundation.

In 2009 and 2010, Michaël Bialobroda was chosen as principal cellist of the Verbier Festival Orchestra and the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra.

He is a laureate of the International Competition of the Musical Autumn Festival for Young Performers (2013).

As a soloist, he has performed with the Cervo International Academy Orchestra, the Nouvelle Europe Chamber Orchestra, the National Superior Conservatory of Music of Paris Orchestra, the Oise Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Guadalajara Orchestra. He has played under renowned conductors such as Seiji Ozawa, Gábor Takács-Nagy, Pierre Bleuse, Yuri Temirkanov, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, Kurt Masur, Valery Gergiev, and Charles Dutoit.

From 2015 to 2018, Michaël Bialobroda was Principal Cellist of the National Orchestra of Lorraine, and from 2019 to 2021, he held the same position with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. He is regularly invited as Principal Cellist with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Mulhouse Symphony Orchestra, the Montpellier-Occitanie National Opera, the National Orchestra of the Savoie Region, and the International Orchestra of Geneva. Michaël Bialobroda was a producer for France Musique during the summer of 2018.
